Booking Facilities and Workshops
Every bookable facility administered by the City of Flin Flon can be booked through our online booking platform, which you can access here:
Flin Flon Program and Facility Booking
Campground, Tourist Park, and Rotary Wheel
Flin Flon’s Campground and Tourist Park offers 70 scenic campsites only minutes from town, located just off Highway #10A. The campground includes modern washrooms with showers and wheelchair access.
Flin Flon’s Tourist Bureau is just outside the campground, with a wealth of information about regional attractions. The nearby Flin Flon Heritage Museum preserves knowledge and artefacts from Flin Flon’s history.
The Rotary Wheel is a spacious, multi-purpose facility that includes a stage and a wet bar. It’s an ideal venue for hosting intimate concerts, weddings, banquets, and more!
The Flin Flon Discovery Trail starts at the giant Flinty statue and runs alongside the campground. The 2.2km includes interpretive signage that offers a perfect introduction to Flin Flon’s heritage, landscape, and geology.
Whitney Forum
The Whitney Forum is an indoor skating rink and hockey arena. Built on its present location in 1958, the arena is home to the Flin Flon Bombers. This junior league hockey team has kick-started the careers of hockey legends, including Bobby Clarke, Reggie Leach, Ted Hampson, Ron Hutcheson, Mel Pearson, Gordie Redhal, Gerry Hart, and Ken Baumgartner.
The Whitney Forum posts a monthly schedule that rink users can view on the Flin Flon Recreation Facebook page, pinned to the top of the page!
Uptown Curling Rink
The Uptown Curling Rink is connected to the Whitney Forum. It’s the home of the Flin Flon Curling Club, who host men’s, women’s, and mixed leagues, along with several bonspiels towards the tail end of the season. The Flin Flon Curling Club runs a Facebook page where you can find schedules and more information!
Flin Flon Community Hall
The Flin Flon Community Hall is the home of the RH Channing Auditorium: it can be booked for events, social gatherings, sports, seminars, and more!

Flin Flon Public Library
The Flin Flon Public Library offers books, audiobooks, magazines, and DVDs for lending. There are also public computers available for use with internet access. Your kids will love the beautiful, newly designed children’s area, complete with a LEGO table and toys!
Camp Whitney
Camp Whitney is located on Lake Athapapskow in the heart of the Boreal Forest. The camp is the perfect balance between remote camping and including:
10 rustic cabins with 4 bunk beds and mattresses sleep 8 people each
Additional tent sites are available.
Cooking and dining facilities.
Newly constructed shower facilities.
Solar power system provides unlimited energy from the sun for all the camp's needs. It is environmentally friendly, minimizes noise, and exhaust pollution. All with the convenience of flip-a-switch power.
Log pavilion with an open fireplace, perfect for parties, receptions, rainy days, and is great for roasting hot dogs, marshmallows, storytelling, and singing songs.
Two beautiful natural sand beaches.
Large playing area, ideal for volleyball, softball, and/or soccer.
Hiking trails, with an abundance of unspoiled nature and wildlife.
The Brian King Nature Trail.
Joe Brain Petting Zoo
Joe Brain Petting Zoo is open from June to August (weather permitting) and is maintained by seasonal staff. This unique, seasonal park hosts several animals to interact with, as well as a playground and picnic area.
Group tours and special event bookings are available!
Flin Flon Skate Park
Located just behind the Hapnot Collegiate field, the Flin Flon skatepark includes ramps, quarter pipes, rails, and stair sets that help skateboarders learn and practice the fundamentals of skateboarding.
Outdoor Rinks
All of the outdoor rinks are flooded every winter and maintained by the City of Flin Flon. However, users typically have to clear the ice rinks from snow themselves after a snowfall.
