What is Flin Flon's Blueberry Jam Music Gathering?

A free, annual 3-day music festival designed for musicians and music lovers to come camp out, meet new people, dance, enjoy beautiful Flin Flon and most importantly jam with other musicians. All located at The Flin Flon Tourist Bureau & Campground, off Highway 10A, at the eastern edge of Flin Flon Manitoba; adjoining the Station Museum and the Flinty Statue.

A mix of local and out of town performers of various experience and genres will perform continuously on two stages, one outdoors and one indoor at the Rotary Wheel.

Who can attend or perform?

Anyone in the public can come, listen, dance and enjoy.

Musicians and singers of any level can sign up for a minimum of half an hour stage time over the course of the weekend on an open mic basis. No obligations! What sort of technical support is provided?

P.A. system, sound tech and stage lighting will be provided for both stages, and both stages will be supplied with a drum kit, a keyboard set up; and bass and guitar amplifiers.

Bass, guitar and players of other easily moved instruments will bring their instruments on stage with them, and plug into available amplifying equipment or microphones.

Flin Flon offers a wide array of shopping choices. There are many different retail businesses to supply all your shopping needs.

The downtown area (Main Street) has numerous unique specialty stores, other businesses' & restaurants.
The Flintoba Shopping Centre (Walmart, Canadian Tire, McDonalds) located at the entrance of the city on Highway #10 is within walking distance.
The Victoria Inn, & Chicken Chef, are also a short walking distance (down the street) of the Gathering/Campground site.
Creighton & Denare Beach also have a variety of places to stay, restaurants & more.
